Lesser, Andrew
Born in Cherry Hill, NJ, Mr. Lesser began studying clarinet at age 11 with Frank Mazzeo and graduated from Cherry Hill High School East while studying with renowned composer Bruce Yurko. Mr. Lesser received a Bachelor of Music Education and Performance from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, and subsequently received his Master of Music degree from the University of Maryland. He has studied with Ronald Reuben of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Anthony Pasquale of the Manhattan Chamber Symphony, and Loren Kitt, Principal of the National Symphony Orchestra. In addition, Mr. Lesser has worked with such renowned artists as H. Robert Reynolds, Faith Esham, Eugene Corporon, and Ray Charles.

Mr. Lesser has composed a variety of works for multiple ensembles, including concert band, orchestra, vocal, and chamber ensembles. As Music Director of Lindenwold High School, Mr. Lesser teaches Concert Band, Concert Choir, Jazz Combo, Marching Band, and Music Theory.
