Reed, David

After earning his degree he served as a member of the United States Military Academy Band at West Point, NY, where he performed with the concert band and the Hellcats drum, fife, and bugle corps. He taught high school and middle school band in his home town of Birch Run, Michigan, for 31 years.
 
David is married with two children. Since retiring from teaching he continues to play in a dance band. He enjoys writing for band and small ensemble, as well as fishing.
