He is Director of Bands at the University of Northern Colorado (since 1985) and Conductor of the Denver Brass (since 1989).  Dr. Singleton is an elected member of the American Bandmasters Association, and is a recipient of both the Colorado Bandmasters Association Hall of Fame Award and the Kappa Kappa Psi Distinguished Service to Music Award
